Description
As part of my EdTech 502 course, The Internet for Educators, I constructed a Jigsaw activity by using HTML5 and CSS3. The purpose of this exercise is to aid the learners to work in groups or community of learners. The process is known as Jigsaw method which involves all the learners to work collaboratively and develop expertise on one or more components of a larger task.
The main objective is to improve fluency and empower learners to communicate and negotiate as a team. Once master the components, the learners in return, use a reciprocal teaching method to share what has been taught with fellow group members. This process prepares the learners to develop a repetitive learning environment structure so over time master their skills and abilities.
